    FX Craze

It's all good, but man I'm still waiting for a 6 shot 225 FPE rifle from FX. I mean 150 FPE is good, but think how great a 225 FPE FX would be?

    Every other fill

Norm, here is the article I wrote about front loading dry nitrogen into a YH compressor. https://www.airgunnation.com/threads/using-a-yong-heng-as-a-n2-booster.799888/#post-1119614

    Drain moisture from tank

Norm, search my post on the GTA about frontloading Dry Nitrogen into your compressor. I guess I was the first to use N2 to feed a YH compressor, so I have been doing it that way for several years now. There is no reason to turn in a half full cylinder when you can run it through your Tuxing...

Your choice for a 177 rifle.

Budget wise I'll do you one better than the Avenger. I have a Diana Stormrider (Mrodair Varmint) that is one hole accurate. $219.99 all day long. Has a smallish air reserve and isn't regulated but i haven't found that to be a problem.

Any hog hunters here shooting the FX Impact?

Without a power tune? No. Just not enough horsepower. 1 FPE per Pound of body weight. A hog about the size of a sack of corn will weigh close to 100lbs. I passed on a 300+ pound hog this weekend because of the shot and distance. There is no fun in watching a hog suffer because of a bad shot.

    Pig hunt tonight

Well the pigs were all ready at my feeder when I arrived. There are some huge 300 pounders on this new place. As I pulled up to drop my gear in the blind a dozen or so hogs that were at the feeder slowly walked down the ravine toward high grass where I lost sight of them. About a hour after dark...

    Deer hunting pcp

There will never be that much poop hitting the fan, so you might as well be legal and knowledgeable about it. Just keep in mind that 1 FPE per pound of body weight is a good rule of thumb. In Texas our Parks and Wildlife used 1.25 FPE per pound when they set our minimum requirement for Deer at...

In search of a .177 silent squirrel assassin on a budget.

Well I bought a Mrodair AirMax Varmint off ezman. Sounds like it will do the job. I have some good glass to put on top and am looking forward to popping these squirrels. Can anyone tell me the thread size and pitch on the front of barrel? Is it a m10x1 or m11x1 thread?

Oh my god. Glad that's finished.

That's good advise. It's not up and down off. It's left/right/up/down off. lol Could be the barrel is fouled, but these guns are erratic due to the design. I was hoping for 1 minute of squirrel accuracy. I sent the original barrel back to Hatsan because it was milled off center and canted. The...

Oh my god. Glad that's finished.

Well I hate two report it was a wasted effort. My 12ga shotgun has a better group. We’re talking feet spread at 40 yards. I will run a bore snake through it in a bit and give it another try before I poopcan it.

Oh my god. Glad that's finished.

Several years back I bought a used AT44-10PA. I had some brilliant Idea about reworking the ports and making it a hog gun. So I broke it down and that is far as it went and it has been occupying space in a tool box for years. So today being iced in I decide today's the day I put it back together...

It's a 100 fpe .25 ACP. Little more than what me backyard can handle.

As far as budget I would say up to 500$. I'm only needing minute of squirrel accuracy.

Have a Texan and Custom Disco but would like to get something to take care of all these squirrels around my house that's neighbor friendly? What's the forums recommendation?
