I did some tinkering with mine today just to see what kind of power it could make. I managed to get 39fpe... .22 JSB 25.4 grain pellet at 832fps. Air pressure at about 3000psi and hammer spring screw backed out 1.5 turns from fully in. I also tried the 30grain piledrivers and 25grain rabbit...

Holy cow. Did you get hurt by any of the flying pieces?

I have one in .22 and I would say it is pretty darn accurate. About 1- 1.5" at 50yds. Mine seems to like the cphp pellets and the barracuda power pellets. I definitely don't have any complaints about accuracy.

Yeah, even though I love my Hatsan bully, they do make the most aesthetically grody airguns. 

Personally I think the FX impact is one of the nicest looking guns. Mechanical and designed around function. 

Jland, why not try that bullmaster scope rail?...seems like an easy fix. 

Yeah the scope rail design is sadly quite sloppy on the bully. How do you like the .45 version? What pellets do you use for that? 

Thanks for the info! I actually have removed that plastic cup from mine but kept the other baffles. If I am shooting below 900fps (which I am with the heavy pellets) is there any reason NOT to get the emperor model? I did manage to get out to my shooting spot today and do some shooting...

Never mind....I see from one of your photos that yours is set up exactly the way I just described. Do you still have the Hatsan baffles in the shroud?

Years ago I was into tinkering with high performance diesel cars. I remember one guy from Finland on TDIclub forums told his unfortunate story. He put a lot of time and money into developing high strength connecting rods to upgrade for guys who wanted to run high rpm and higher psi turbos. ...
