Another indicator that things aren’t working is that the pressure gauge says on zero after I connect it and the rifle has 2000psi. Seems like it has to be something on the connection for some reason. It clicks on like it’s fully connected though

Yeah it’s not difficult to pump. But when I let go of the handle it shoots back up. Is that normal? To me that is an indicator of air not going anywhere

Thanks for the reply. So it seems like the original fill will take a lot of work with a hand pump...but what about if I only shoot like 10-20 shots at a time then pump again? Is that still a ton of work? Does the quality of the pump make a big difference too?

This is why I enjoy having an older truck! Eventually things will get scratched but it doesn't hurt so bad if it's already happened..
