Honestly haven’t tried em at 30 or less. I have it zeroed at 50, and the majority of my shots are 40-80, so that works well. They may indeed be accurate enough at closer range. If I get bored one day I may check it to see in case I get a permission inside a barn. 

I suppose I could try washing n lubing them. Definitely won’t hurt anything.

This is what I’ve heard from several others. Just trying to crowdsource a larger group to see if that’s the general consensus. Thanks. I wish mine did. 

Been a while. Had a kid...things got hectic for a minute. Thought I’d give an update/see if anyone else has seen this. Got my DL 22 shooting the 15.89s lights out at around 900 fps. It shoots these very well (1/4”-1/2”) groups at 60yds for quite some time. The best I can get the 18s to shoot...

@tor47 definitely. I’ve removed the barrel entirely a few times...just not specifically to clean it. Thanks for the heads up tho.

Ah. It didn’t occur to me to remove the entire barrel assembly to clean it instead of just the liner. I’m still going to test cleaning it without removing anything first, but good idea.

I don’t really WANT to get into lubing pellets. They shoot great out of the tin, even visually effed up skirts. Just tired of having to redo everything each time I clean the barrel. I just cleaned/zeroed/tuned the dreamline. Next time one of em starts acting up I’m going to try the fishing...

My poi always shifts after removing the barrel (even if I remove/replace the shroud and NOT the barrel). Sometimes the shift is about an inch. Sometimes it’s closer to 12” (at 50 yds). So i rezero the scope to get it close. Then I adjust the velocity up n down slightly until the groups tighten...

@mantech30 I hadn’t ever come across that barrel indexing video. It makes sense. Thank you. It’ll be a bit before I’m able to do that, but I certainly will try it, along with lubing.

I wondered if shooting it a lot would eventually help out. Seems that lubing pellets might be in order. Hopefully they don’t have to be washed too...

You saying that you have an FX rifle, have had similar issues, and cleaning it without removing the barrel solves it?

Ooooookay. So some of y’all will be aware of a small part of my journey with my Impact 30 which now also includes a dreamlite 22. Having similar issues with the 22, but I think I’ve got it ALL FIGURED OUT...lol. It’s dirty barrels. And the barrels get dirty and lose accuracy waaaaay sooner than...

Trying to get the most out of her without modding anything. I do plan to do some mods in the future, but I have basically zero free time at the moment. I’ve got her shooting 45s at an avg of 903 fps which puts the 50s around 870. Hammer truly maxed. Ever so slightly increased reg pressure til it...
