    Umarex Notos - First Kill

Shout out to battlehawkarmory.com. The Notos is currently going for less than $200. I was hesitant because of the low price ("You get what you pay for."), but I "pulled the trigger." Since the gun was so much cheaper than most other sites, I was able to add in a Maple Customs 15-shot...

    Umarex New Notos, New Problem

The first returned gun wouldn't cock. The troubleshooting was covered in this thread. I might be crazy, but I swear the fill port on the first Notos was directly at the bottom and the gauge was perpendicular to the rifle, which is why I started this thread with questions... Also, both rifles...

    Umarex New Notos, New Problem

Nevermind. I'm stupid. Delete thread. For some reason, the gauge looked off. I don't remember the port being through and through. Seems to be filling fine. Thanks.

    Umarex New Notos, New Problem

Sorry, I'm new to air guns, but is air port fine? I would think the air port should lead into the rifle, and not into open air. I am not buying anything to fix something that is brand-spanking new. What's the forum policy on calling out suppliers? This is my 2nd Notos and it looks to be...

    Umarex New Notos, New Problem

The fill port is see-through. The gauge is turned 45º clockwise.

    Umarex New Notos, New Problem

Am I just unlucky or what? Returned my other Notos and the new Notos came in today. I was about to fill in air and came across this. Is this an easy fix? I don't want to do anything that might void the warranty.

Reliable Site to Buy Umarex Notos

Can someone recommend a reliable site to purchase an Umarex Notos? I'm not going to name names, but I recently purchase an Umarex Notos from a site and the rifle turned out to be a lemon after less than 10 shots. Is it normal that the rifle box doesn't come with a sticker seal? The rifle had...

Umarex Umarex Notos Can't Cock Lever

Thanks so much. I HIGHLY appreciate the help. I was starting to LOVE this rifle. I'm just going to swap it. I was close to zeroing in with my scope and it is super quiet. Like someone had mentioned, it's like the sound of a brad nailer. Thanks again.

Umarex Umarex Notos Can't Cock Lever

I turned the hammer spring completely counter-clockwise and unscrewed the trigger weight screw until it sticks out 5 mm. I still can't cock. Note, I turn off the safety each time to check if the rifle is already cocked. It's not.

Umarex Umarex Notos Can't Cock Lever

I tweaked both the hammer spring and trigger weight and got off about 5 rounds before it refused to cock again. The inability to cock seems random. Does this seem like a defect? Should I return the rifle?

Umarex Umarex Notos Can't Cock Lever

Bear with me. I'm new to air guns. So, I'm assuming I should turn the hammer spring adjustment counter-clockwise? How much should I turn? 1/4? 1/2? Can I safely adjust the hammer spring with the rifle loaded with air? The rifle has never been loaded with pellets. I really don't want to...

Umarex Umarex Notos Can't Cock Lever

Hi, I just received the Umarex Notos yesterday. I haven't even fired a shot. When I cock the lever, it doesn't hold in place and springs forward. Any ideas what is causing this and how I can get around it? The gun is not cocked. I disengaged the safety and pressed the trigger and nothing.

Scope and Hand Pump for Umarex Notos

Hi, I'm looking for a scope for the Umarex Notos. My budget is around $25-$75. I just need something cheap and effective. I will be shooting squirrels at around 10 yards. 20 yards max on occasion. I will also need a hand pump. Can someone recommend a pump in the $50-$75 range? Thanks.

    Advice Needed

I built the squirrel feeder/backstop only to shoot them and to prevent the pellets from reaching the neighbors. I got the idea from EDgun Leshiy. The area is heavily infested with squirrels because of the surrounding fig, walnut, and cherry tree. The neighbor's fig tree is massive. I don't...
