Turns out my local gunsmith didn't install the barrel on my GK1 properly. It's not screwed in far enough, leaving too much space between the barrel and the magazine. Does anyone know if it's difficult to install and align the barrel on the GK1 yourself? Do I need advanced tools for the alignment?

Not to be a negative nancy, but... doesn't this kinda defeat the whole purpose a compact PCP pistol? I mean, if you're gonna slap a bottle on it, and a stock, and (in some cases) a longer barrel, you might as well buy a Sidewinder instead.

Like I said, it's on Gregor's channel. He designed the GK1, so he's as credible as it gets. Im actually surpised no one is talking about this here.

I think it's a bit scummy to advertise a high-power airgun, and then lock the max power setting behind a paywall. Especially for an airgun in this price range. The high-power kit should've been included in the box. Anyway, I'm still waiting for those range reviews. So far there is still only 1...

So apparantly there are 2 new GK1 models coming out. The GK1 Mini (which is basically Huben's own take on the Shorty), and a .30 cal version. Not sure if the mini will also come in .30. The mini will come out end of summer 2025 in the US, and the .30 is still TBA. Never thought Huben would...

That's a bit of premature statement to make about a gun that's been out for only a few days. How about we save the praise until we have more information and user experiences to go off of. So far there's literally only ONE video where someone actually shoots the damn thing.

It's confirmed to be hammerless. It does appear to have some sort of striker mechanism, since you can cock and de-cock the rifle. I like that. As much as I love my GK1, I can't help but feel a little nervous when Im carrying it, since the gun is basically always "hot".

Pretty sure the .30 has been delayed. It's the only caliber that's not in stock, and the stores in my area say the .30 isn't coming until after the summer... possibly as late as november. So Im not sure how you're planning to review it.

You can check out aeaairguns.shop. It's a webshop from Spain but they ship internationally. They sell valve pins for almost every AEA model, including the Challenger.

From what I've heard the .30 has been delayed until november. At least where live anyway. Not sure what that means for the .22 and .25 though. But once again a manufacturer fails to deliver in time. I really wish they'd learn to wait with their annoucements until they are sure they can meet...

I just saw on AirgunHeaven that the .30 has been delayed until November. Not sure if that delay is exclusive to their webshop alone, but those who want the .30 variant might be waiting for a long time.
