    25 cal slugs vs. 22LR

Good point I’ve worked on just about everything I can modify on the air rifle with the exception of any valve porting or barrel polishing. I’ll definitely keep the barrel polishing in mind. Thank you

    25 cal slugs vs. 22LR

25 cal on small game is lethal. Tree rats when getting smashed by a 25 cal pellet/slug going 900 fps sounds like a balloons pop when get hit :)

    25 cal slugs vs. 22LR

I'm most concerned with accuracy not so much power levels of foot pounds or speed.

    25 cal slugs vs. 22LR

I'm tinkering with a budget 25 cal Air Venturi Avenger with a few mods. I've been able to tune it to 2,500 psi reg pressure, and 1 turn on HS. I'm pushing 30 grain NSA slugs 1,014 fps for a good 24 shots or 3 mags and a standard deviation spread of +/-3 feet per second from average speed...

    25 cal slugs vs. 22LR

I hear good things about that Altaros slug ammo for air rifles. Seems like you could* have a bit ways to push that Altaros slug faster? say closer to 1,100 fps? wow....60 grains at 1,000 plus feet per seconds with a BC of 0.245 could blow that 22LR round bye bye...

    25 cal slugs vs. 22LR

What slug weight and speed in a 25 cal air rifle would be able to solidly compete with a 22LR standard velocity round? what are some suggestions?

    25 cal slugs vs. 22LR

I'm relatively new to this addicting PCP world. I'm aware the 22LR projectiles have more power. But, in general which has more accuracy out to 100 yards, and which has more drop/rainbow?

Umarex Gauntlet 30 SL power mods

@tradecraft6f did you ever install that 3100 psi Ninja reg? if so, how's it going and what slug are you using?

Compressor - New GX CS4 Performance Issues!

I had a very slow fill issue with my GX CS4 taking more than 3 times as long to fill. When it got to around 2,000 PSI it was sucking canal water and struggling to the intended fill. I was about to give up troubleshooting it and after contacting GX customer service they replied back with a few...

Compressor - New GX CS4 Performance Issues!

UPDATE: Just wanted to let you know and specially the ones that have a CS GX4 without an hour meter. The first hour meter I purchased that isn't wired to the unit but works off vibration was not sensitive enough to react and start the clock accurately. The second one I have purchased shown...

Any issues with your GX CS4?

I've tried the stick on hour-meters (see below link) on the GX CS4 and I have also experienced there is insufficient vibration to trigger the start of the clock running. So, returned it back to amazon and gave up on it. I would like to hard wire it but I'm a bit resistant to working with the...

Any issues with your GX CS4?

Hi, Have any of you had any issues with your GX CS4 compressor after operating it for a few weeks, month, or year? (note: I'm a bit concerned with the 5 hours per turn of the grease pot since I don't have an integrated timer)

Benjamin Tuning - Benjamin Marauder 0.25 Cal 40 shots/40 FPE tune

Hi, I am attempting to fine tune my Benjamin Marauder 25 caliber with the famous 40 shots/40 FPE tune. I have modified the air rifle with the Tim Hill modifications by widening the transfer port, changing the valve, hammer, hammer springs, and lighter hammer striker. I've also added a huma...

Compressor - New GX CS4 Performance Issues!

Guys I solved the problem with the compressor. As some of you stated I removed the cover and checked for leaks throughout the unit, and I didn't find any. Then, I removed the burst disc assembly that's right next to the grease pot. I found that the burst disk assembly was both the small screw...
