I had three AP16’s that all failed ( seal leaks ) within a few months or less and all were returned. The AP16’s aren’t even sold by any vendors now. If the Tequila gun seals leaked so quickly that should give you an idea about the reliability of these guns. I’ve been shooting my Huben GK1 about...
My GK1 .25 cal is by far the most powerful and accurate pistol that I have. I can hit every know-your-limit spinning targets at 110 yards easily with it. Zan 33gr slugs.
I tried to get the Reximex but they were just bs’n about selling it in the USA. I’m getting the GK1 in .25 and .22 and then I’m seriously considering the Tequila Gun. I honestly loved shooting the AP16.
😂yeah I was stretching it with the Notos but the Tequila Gun is very similar to the AP16 and probably more durable. I’ve been communicating with the maker of that gun who by the way lives in Texas and he says he designed the gun after the AP16.
I’d prefer to let this thread die especially because no one even sells the Ataman AP16 anymore and newer and far better pistols have come out since: Notos, Jet, GK1 and most notably the Tequila Gun.
After a not so pleasant experience with the Skout Epoch, I decided to wait before pulling the trigger again so early and I’m glad I did. The Skout Evo is more refined and what I was hoping for. I’m getting back aboard with the Evo with the slug barrel in particular. Very nice review Lewis.
The gun looks goofy. It’s Ugly and not at all powerful. The Huben GK1 on the other hand is absolutely beautiful and has over twice the power and it only costs $100 more. I seriously doubt any serious airgunner would even consider buying this.😳
Two days ago Shooting Gear Reviews posted a shorts video of the GK1 .25 cal delivering 81 foot pounds of energy and there’s YouTube videos out there of the .22 GK1 doing 61 fpe.
I own several airgun pistols in .22 caliber and they’re all loud because the barrel is so short. In my profile pic I have a DonnyFl Ronin on an Ataman AP16 to quiet it down, without it it’s almost as loud as a .22 rim fire rifle.
I have used those 17gr air boss in my Artemis PP700 and my Artemis PP750 with very good results. I’m a pistol enthusiast, had three AP-16’s which all eventually leaked air so I returned them. I have two Artemis PP700’s in .22 cal and a .22 cal Artemis PP750 that shoot superbly accurate out to...
