    Fx air gun for indoors

Well I picked up a mk2 impact with a .22cal 500mm barrel have it shooting around 650fps with some cheap gaming pellets until my jsbs arrive. I took it out and found that it doesn’t pierce the tin at 15 yard yet still has plenty of power for head neck and upper bread shots op pigeons. My...

    Fx crown and fx impact

This would be my first pcp. I’m not new to nice weapons, I have a fair bit of experience in the br/fclass side with powder burners (I love to tinker and tune :) ) However, do you think that either of these two options are too complex for a beginner?

What specific things do you find better about the crown?

Trying Daisy .177 hollowpoint pellets....with update

Do you have a link to that target design? It reminds me of a benchrest score target just a lot cleaner.

    Fx crown and fx impact

Is there any disadvantage to an fx crown over an impact if one is not concerned with length or shooting big slugs at high speeds. Are they both equal in accuracy and tune ability? I am considering getting a fx crown as they seem to be in stock sooner and cost slightly less.

Shots inside would be 25-50 yards as it is a large barn. I don’t have an impact so I can’t be sure but aren’t the ones sold in the uk around 12ftlbs? I was really looking hard at a compact impact in .22 I do realize that the impact is capable of some pretty extreme power. As for safety I would...

    Fx air gun for indoors

I am by no means dead set one one rifle, I have simply wanted a nice pcp such as an impact but I never had a way to justify getting into it when I have so much invested in powder burners or whatever you guys call them here :). I know once you start with a new shooting discipline they sometimes...

    Fx air gun for indoors

I’ll have to think about that great deal. Any thoughts about .22 or .25 for pigeons at the slow velocity needed for indoor shooting? I would think that they both could be at about the same velocity and not punch through the tin, giving the .25 the advantage due to increased weight but I could be...

Do you find the large magazine on the impact worth the price increase over say the maverick? Also, how do the triggers on the fx rifles compare to some of the aftermarket rem 700 triggers? I am very used to and fond of my 2-8oz Bix N Andy triggers that I used to in my f-class rifles.

    Fx air gun for indoors

Thats very impressive, almost a whole tin on a fill. Does the maverick take the large magazines like the impact?

That is a rifle I had not considered. How was the accuracy and shots per fill at that speed?

That seems to answer my question of can it be done. Now I must decide I guess if the impact’s larger magazine and shorter overall length with comparable barrels is worth the extra cost over the dreamline fitted with a bottle.

That’s what I was afraid of. I was hoping with a wad cutter or maybe the jsb hades going slow would have enough frontal area to not penetrate tin.

    Fx air gun for indoors

I am in need of an air rifle that has the ability to be tuned down to a power level that will not put holes in roofing tin for indoor pest control. I believe I would be able to do that with a fx impact or dreamline shooting 25 or 22 cal pellets at .177 power levels. Has anyone done this or have...
