The begining of the .177 Raptor

I have had a couple questions about accuracy with different pellets. The weather has not been very cooperative but I did have a small window right after daylight where the winds were not too bad. I grabbed all of the .177 cal pellets I could find and set up a target at 50 yards. The first pic...

The begining of the .177 Raptor

I haven't been shooting very much lately. Too much work to do. My daughter shot it at ROT Field Target match and did very well. I was able to put some nice groups together but with the wind they would string horizontally so pictures of these groups would not do the gun justice. I tried the...

The begining of the .177 Raptor

I do but I don't have a reliable way to measure the pull weight.

The begining of the .177 Raptor

Very... I had the gun apart and played with the trigger assembly. It looks like there are 4 adjustment screws for the trigger. Not an expert but it appears that the trigger position, 1st stage travel and pull weight, and 2nd stage pull weight can all be adjusted. I was able to set it low...

The begining of the .177 Raptor

Before I get started with the gun, I want to say being able to call JSAR and talk with Travis speaks volumes about their customer service! Anyway, on with the gun. The gun handles very nice. The weight is balanced right about the middle of the fore grip so shooting offhand is very...

"100 yard MOA Constest". TOM CAT WON!

This is the best group I have been able to put together so far. It was shot late last year with my .25 taipan veteran. I haven't been able to recreate it but I have been close. Some others that were close! (Don't pay attention to the numbers on the calipers.. they were wrong and I didn't...

Could someone measure a Gauntlet for me?

Could someone measure a Gauntlet for me?

I am thinking of using a Gauntlet as a project gun. Before I purchase one I would like to get some measurements to make sure it would fit the bill.... If someone could measure the distance from the end of the bottle (nearest the end of the barrel) to the rear of the breach block (nearest the...

Marauder Cocking Crisis after FT rebuild

Congrats on finding the issue... I have been using a light coating of dry graphite on my hammer. works pretty good for that.

Marauder Cocking Crisis after FT rebuild

Your setup is surprisingly similar to mine (.22cal FT marauders aren't that common). The last time I took mine apart to clean the internals, I tightened the cocking bolt too much into the hammer. Since it is MDS hammer, it deformed very slightly causing it to drag just a little but it would...
