I have relatives in the Lower Peninsula, in Lawton. I use an Airforce Texan 0.457 caliber with a 405 grain slug. I use a Leupold scope which is designed for a firearm so I had to put a few risers on the rifle to raise the scope up.

Thank you. I guess I should have mentioned that. It was an 80 yard shot. I have a Leupold scope on the rifle and it is dead on every time.

I took this deer with .457 caliber and a 405g slug. Every deer I have shot run for about 60-70 yards, I get them right in the heart or lung. All of my shots have been at 80 yards. I would really like to go hunting for coyote, I just haven’t had time. I have an Airforce Texan.

Great Job! It looks like you had a fun time. I love rabbit hunting. My grandfather always told me that it is very difficult going after rabbits without a dog but I always do well.

Thank you for sharing. I own one but I can’t use it in Illinois or Michigan, so I am thinking about selling it. I have so much money tied up in it. I bought it in anticipation of Michigan legalizing it but I have had numerous talks with the DNR and its not even in the works. Thanks again
