so today I received a completely new Vectis from Hatsan. This is what I requested they do when the lever detents failed the 2nd time. I don't know if the did this for goodwill or if they couldn't fix the other one. I am happy with the result and hopefully this one will not have the same problem.

I think the steel sleeves that are molded or pressed into the pistol grip to catch the detent balls are shaving down the thin steel retainers that hold the balls in place. you can feel a thin sharp wire edge like when you sharpen a knife.

so received the Vectis back from warranty service on march 26th. shot it twice (maybe 5 mags) and one of the detent balls is missing from the lever again. this is getting old. has anyone else with a Vectis had this problem?

yes they have a bunch of names. I called the guy at Mrodair, said he had no stock and no idea when he would get more. mentioned getting one from spain as they use the max power settings. unlike UK. so I did.

rec'd an email today with tracking number for the return of my Vectis. Pretty fast turn around once they got to it. hope it lasts this time.

 

Actually I think this was from the mid to late 60's but he shot it well into the mid 90's.

I'm an old guy, when my dad passed I got his old Feinwerkbau and his pellet stash. He was a 10 meter guy. and a damn good shot.
