No way you'd be able to get the Edgun here in Canada. We can't get bullpups (bobcat, wildcat, cricket, etc). Although my sources say we will likely be able to get the FX impact. :)

I've taken chipmunks out at 10 yards with a Daisy BB gun. So yes to the chipmunks. Squirrels... probably not an instant kill. Maybe the gun doesn't have the power it used to either (spring, seals, etc).

If the pellets aren't going through 1/4 inch plywood at 30 yards, you likely have the <500fps version (that would be considered the non FAC version where I live in Canada), not the high power version.

I zeroed mine (FX Royale 500 walnut stock) at 35 yards. The reason for this is simply due to the fact that the distance from my deck to my shooting post is 35 yards. Congrats on the new gun. No regrets here either.
