My 177 is LOUD. Not sure what I can do to quiet it does without just adding a moderator on the front. Love the size without a moderator. I haven't chrono'd it yet it's a little too loud to shoot in the back yard. Will have to wait until I go to the cabin to test.

Does CO2 have enough energy to dispatch a squirrel? My first "serious" air rifle was a Ruger Impact from WalMart. Using the artillery hold it's been more than accurate enough for dispatching squirrels. I realize not everyone has had as much luck with the Umarex made springers mine has shot fine.

We have 13mph winds here right now so probably not the best time to try to shoot a group. I'll throw on the chronograph and see what the numbers look like during my lunch hour.
