Thank you for all the response, I ended up ordering a Diana, I figure for the weight/ price I can get her something else in the future if she enjoys it.

My daughter is interested in shooting a pcp since seeing mine, however I would like to get her a light gun since mine Venturi with scope is a little heavy for her. Has anyone seen a chart of guns by weight? So far the lightest gun I am seeing is a Diana Stormrider at around 4.6 lbs. thanks

Thank you for all the help!!! After a bunch of research I figured out someone had wired the start and run capacitors wrong, given that there is no easy wiring diagram it was fun to figure out :). Once I figured out which winding was start and which one was run I was able to rewire the motor and...

Me too, I am pretty sure someone just messed with the wiring, I know enough to be dangerous with the wiring and how this one is wired doesn’t make sense to me…. One wiring diagram would solve my woes :)

Thanks, I will have to call them Monday, the wiring diagram in the book doesn’t match what’s under the cover. The person I purchased it from said they never tried to run it because it was 220v.

I have a chance to buy a 2005 Bauer JR locally. They want $1,000 and say it has only been used to fill 5 bottles, but it does not have a motor with it (said it was on a boat), just the compressor with an electric clutch and dryer. There is not way to really test it, but what should I look for...
