I had a Taipan Veteran long that was extremely accurate. However, I just couldn’t get used to a bullpup, so after about 5 years, I sold it. My Avengers are not the same quality, but they are more fun for me to shoot. Also, I’m having a blast tuning them.

A friend of mine did this 5 shot group last week with his .22 Avenger at 20 yards indoors from a bench. He’s shot at least 4 like this within the past year.

You can get silicone grease from a dive shop. It’s cheap.

It’s going to be hard to find information on Taipan parts because very few guys have needed them 😎. Maybe call the distributors and ask them. 

Matt at RL Airgun was extremely helpful back when I was looking for a Taipan Veteran Long. Others will probably give you feedback from their experiences.
