Yes a break barrel rifle would be cheap and perfect for my needs but it needs to be a pistol.

All i know is that the package says 460 fpm. I also use 10 pumps. Im seeing my pellets bounce off small varmints at close range. How did you get 620 fps from your gun or is that the normal stock output ?

Yes thats over budget and doesnt seem to have any sound dampening, although i dont know how effective those are at actually limiting the noise. Also im reading that the gas piston is able to be kept charged longer than spring models before firing.
