    A pistol was found.

And the pellets in old ammo tins, .22 on left, .177 on right and both bore size darts as well . I am fairly certain my father would have gotten this pistol in late 1930’s. Birmingham 4 on barrel certainly makes it pre 1958, post 1933.

    A pistol was found.

I have just inherited a Webley-Scott “SENIOR” air pistol in excellent condition. It is pre 1958. Has a holster, box with a second smaller bore barrel, cans of two sizes of pellets, a collection of darts etc. Can you tell me something about this pistol. Is it rare?

    Webley soft air pistol

As you can see .22 pellets (left) and .177 pellets in old ammo tins and in original envelop (.177) as well as screw driver for pistol and brush cleaner (no original Webley gun oil left) plus both .22 and .177 bore darts. Targets.

And these. The .22 barrel is on and the .177 is next to pistol. Birmingham 4 is on barrel indicating pre 1958 vintage. I believe my father would have gotten this pistol as early as 1938.
