Yeah well I wanted to add a long barrel (18"), larger port, stronger hammer spring, angle the port of the valve and cut of a few threads. Wanted to make a carbine. But if I only get 6 High power shoots with 12g CO2 it's not worth it. I don't want to convert it to HPA... Also a boss valve is not...

Hello, does anyone know if the barrels made for the crosman 2250 and 2260 will fit the 2240? Also what barrel lenght will be the best to get out most energy possible with CO2? What are realistic pellet speeds with lets say a 18" barrel+max flow transferport and power adjustor set to max?

Thanks! I think ill try JSB first can get those cheaper than the H&N. Willing to get a cheapo 2x20 Pistol scope for it so it will be suitable for longer ranges. Practise will be everything than. :D

That sounds good. I think I can even get more than 8 ftps. I wanna use JSB Pellets guess there at least as good as the H&N. But "green" means leadfree right? Weres you zero distance? With a reddot holdover will be hard to calculate. And what are you aiming for?

You mean something like a Crosman Benjamin Marauder? Well if so this Pistol would not be much stronger than the fully powerd Alecto I think. Its pretty expensive too I think. + I like the multi pump system of the alecto cause I dont need any Aircylinder or something.
