    Inexpensive Hollowpoints

Saw on youtube a clip of a guy that used silicone (like tub seal) on a hollow point that wasnt too accurate for him, It cut the shot pattern down from spray and pray to fairly good and when he shot into a bucket of water the hollow point actually opened up more with the silicone than without. He...

    Tuning foster connection wont seal?

When trying to fill the GF's gun the other day for the first time in a year when opening the bleed valve from either the tank or a compressor the air from the guns tank exited. I could release the connector when the pressure was down to about 1000psi. and the drain from the guns tank stopped...

    Quietest/softest printable paper for targets?

go to Staples or any office supply store and pick up onion skin paper. When you print on it you may end up getting 2=5 pages so only print one page at a time then slip the extras back in. Thsi paper is very thin like 6-8 lbs per 5000 sheets and sometimes less. If you wet it down and look at it...

    30 Cal Pellets

I've shot a tin of them so far threw my RAW and at 50 yards I can get them to do about an inch firing from my shoulder and bipod. I'm guessing I could get much better from a lead sled. Dan

    Casting lead and ........powder coating???

I saw on one of the youtube videos where the guy mixed the powder and acetone then let it dry before putting in the oven. Gives good coverage just have to make sure to drain any hollow points and skirts otherwise could be full before shooting or at least half full. Dan

thumb screw for pressure release valve

I have a cheap shoebox style compressor, the thumbscrew for the pressure release valve is missing, gremlins came in the night and took it for thier own designs, makes me nervous just thinking what those little buggers might want with the screw. I was wondering is it some kind of special screw or...

    I designed a 3D model of a .30 Caliber pellet - A Tester Needed

PLA is a harder plastic that doesn't deform too well under quick stress, where as PETG will deform better because its a softer more pliable plastic. I sliced and printed the holder with everything the same except slicing tollerance, I printed them with interior, exterior and middle. Layer...

    I designed a 3D model of a .30 Caliber pellet - A Tester Needed

No it wasnt the models, I think my bed is a little wavey if it is, its not by a large ammount. Of the 6x6 print I lost the 3 on the left and because of loosing the 3 on the left I ended up with strings haning off the others.which would make them fly wierd because they wouldnt be that smooth. I...

    I designed a 3D model of a .30 Caliber pellet - A Tester Needed

Nylon is not something I have ever used, I have pla, tpu and petg. I tried printing out 6x6 last night but had a problem with some of them. I'm going to have to do a little more fine tuning. I printed with a layer height of .12 mm I will give it an other try tonight when I get home tonight.

    I designed a 3D model of a .30 Caliber pellet - A Tester Needed

I'm willing to give it a try, but I will probably have a big problem with overspeed. I have a RAW .30 but when I get it out to the range I will see what I can do with it, I have not had the chance to even fit a scope or fire even a single round out of it yet. Last sunday I wanted to go to the...

Chassis or stock for Daystate Pulsar

Sunday as long as the rain stays away I will get out to the range, but so far the weather forecast is for thunderstorms all afternoon. Unfortunatly the only days the range is open is Saturday and Sunday afternoons and for the 11 years my office is open on Saturdays so that most people can bring...
