While you can achieve really good and even excellent results with some of today's precision air guns, I feel as though the slug came before the slug gun and that we are still awaiting its arrival. Perhaps there is so much money to be made trying to find the right slug, barrel, regulator...

I believe my first was a Logun SOLO in .22. I think they later became FX.

I have had similar experiences slugging FX liners. I've often thought that without a choke those liners would do good to group minute of barn.

Starlings are very smart and will respond to being shot at. The juveniles will be easy pickings but soon will catch on and not want to come back.

Yes, the Leupold EFR series is lightweight and has better glass than previous models. Worth every penny!
