    General capabilities of .22

Why not just get a .25? Down side is ammo is more expensive and they use more air. Big difference in killing power. 0.03 inches diameter doesn’t sound like much but the frontal area is much larger than .22. 25s also generally run upper 30s to mid 40s ft lbs. If you are new to PCPs understand...

    Weihrauch Made in Gerrr....what China?

You are not going to get something you didn’t pay for and by buying a starter package you paid for and go a cheap Chinese scope. I thought it was common knowledge that package deal scopes are cheap Chinese stuff. You can get good quality for your money from Chi-NA. I just got a close out Athlon...

Tap size for tiny black screws on Scope rings.

It might help if you specify the ring maker to know if they are SAE or Metric. You might try bringing the screws to a fastener store or buy a thread doctor to ID the threads.

If you could only keep one gun, which would it be?

Give me a Hatsan. There’s a smokin hot chick working UPS and I would get to chat when I’m sending it back for warranty repairs.

    Another Pet Irritation

If you are looking for an affordable decently made springer hit the used market. I recently found a nearly new Diana M34, 2018 manufacture date, in .22 at a pawn shop. Walked it out the door for $150 including a rws mount and garbage scope. Upon shooting it was diesling off the factory oil. Once...

Crosman 760 Variant 1 quad seal

Air Guns are NOT firearms. If you don’t have to fill out a 4473 and pass a background check it isn’t a firearm. Best of luck with your project.

    This is America

What’s making our children dumb isn’t the imperial measurements system that’s antiquated, it’s all the PC garbage taught in schools. Reading, writing and arithmetic are the basics, and if you’re not sure if you’re a boy... content removed.

Looking around for a new high end scope.

Such a wonderful problem to have. But a tier one rifle deserves tier one optics that run in the $2,500 range. From the financially challenged side I recommend the old model Athlon Talos BTR 4x14 on close out for $198 and free shipping. A junker compared to those listed above but if you’re on a...

Question about "Christmas tree" style reticles

I like them and just bought my first one, Athlon Talos BTR. The turrets are supposed to be under 1% error but I will believe that once I get to the range and test for myself. I love that it’s a first focal plane so I can use the 0.2 mils between hash marks. I really like that I can shoot and see...

    A very interesting finding... Very!!

These guys show just how far air guns can be taken. That’s great if you can afford that path. But for me they have crossed the mark where I break out my rim fires. This sport is different for everyone, but for me air guns have a place and it’s where rim fires are to dangerous and or illegal to...

    4 weeks + 4 winners = 120 BOXES of Slugs by NSA - Week 4

It would be big fun working up a high power tune for those slugs. I doubt the local garden robbing squirrels would agree!

    Jsb 34g beast pellets

Out of curiosity why did you quit slugs? Those pellets have to be not much cheaper and won’t match slugs at distances past 50 yards. Shooting a pellet that heavy ya might as well shoot slugs.

    What is acceptable!

What did you find? About 8 years ago I bought a sleeve of the same pellets that had issues. The flat spot inside the skirt where head ends varied in around 10% of the pellets. I segregated out the odd balls and used them for plinking. The “normal” ones shot great groups. I didn’t bother to weigh...

O-rings for Huma regulator for .25 Marauder (with gauge if that matters)

Yep, #118 for the reservoir tube in 70 durameter hardness. Don’t get the 90, won’t work.
