Single shot tray or loader for Daystate Redwolf Safari in .30

I’ve purchased several SShot loaders and mags from CARM. Darko does great work of very high quality, top materials. My BRK Commander magazine has had zone problems. I also have FX Impact . 25 magazines and I’m testing Skout EVO .22 magazines for him. FYI, Skout magazines fit both the EPOCH...

HELIX OR TITAN ((Element scope) of course)

Having purchased both, if the basis is bang for buck- Helix hands down. Titan is almost double the price, but the Helix is very clear. I liked the Helix turrets better, but preferred the Titan reticle for AAFTA Hunter field Target. If the Helix had an Illuminated reticle, I would still own...

    Resources Getting into FT

Family guy, Welcome to the friendly world of FT. FT shooters tend to regularly acquire new(er) equipment just because we can afford something different. That means there are some great deals on their previous favorite rifles/scopes/pellets/equipment. If you put the word out, most shooters...

Tulsa Airgun Club - No match 10 May

Unexpectedly, the flooded targets are perfectly clean on the bottom side. Only the tops where the sediment settled are mud crusted. The targets that were vertical have mud on both sides. Now we know how important it is to use the shelves. 😀

Skout Skout EVO bag rider for Skeletonized shoulder stock

UPDATE: I had bought a Saber Tac benchrest monopod last year for the PA cup and wanted to see if I could adapt it to work on my EVO w/ skeletonized butt stock that is narrower at the bottom than the top. Here’s the result: STac uses M5 socket head cap screws that recess into the stock mounted...

Why some prefer high power .22 over .30 vice versa

Jim, You are right that BC varies greatly from pellet to pellet, but that comes down to individual pellet design. Given the same weight, a short fat (larger Dia.) pellet will have a lower BC than a smaller dia, longer pellet. A tight waisted pellet = lower BC than a broad waisted pellet. You...

Why some prefer high power .22 over .30 vice versa

To be clear, a bigger caliber projectile will have to be much heavier to achieve the same BC as the smaller caliber. So the larger caliber does NOT make it a better BC. Larger caliber = more power AND more air consumption = fewer shots per fill. (and MUCH louder) The advantages of the...
