    Other BAM XSB51 Stock Options?

    Thanks Scott. That makes sense.

The SPREAD = parallax wheels comparison

I have the Heras and liked it so much I bought a second one.

    Other BAM XSB51 Stock Options?

Vana 2 is a contributor here and he wrote this up for Pyramid air a while back. Instead of the reductive method of taking a piece of wood and cutting everything off that doesn’t look like a stock his method is additive. He builds the stock from affordable pieces of wood and does most of it...

HW/Weihrauch HW97K Trigger Issues - When Safety is turned off gun fires

Thanks for posting this. That explanation he gave was very clear.

    Well im out ...

Maybe it’s time for us to design our own US made springers! What was the last decent US springer? We all buy German because of quality/tradition. The US has some pretty good engineers. Let the Germans build the barrel, and we build the rest of it!

    HW/Weihrauch Twenty dimes! 177 Hw95 remains King.

Looks like 4.51 to me. What innards do you have in the 95? Good shooting!

    HW/Weihrauch hw 50s

It’s a bit quieter, I don’t have the skills or experience to say much beyond that. If I hold the gun consistently I can achieve same hole groups at 25 yards. However, I am not skilled or calm enough to keep it up.

    HW/Weihrauch hw 50s

For bunny elimination, absolutely; No rabbit is safe in my yard. I have taken up hunter field target and am using it for that as well. I am improving slowly, but it’s hard at the longer targets. What’s vital for Field Target is a decent scope to go with the gun. I have an Athlon Heras 6-24...

The SPREAD = parallax wheels comparison

Is this particularly true for guns set at just under 20ft/lbs? I wonder if it would work for a 15ft/lbs springer - I might have to try and see!

The SPREAD = parallax wheels comparison

Is it safe to infer that the larger the spread of degrees from 10-55 the more likely ranging will be accurate? In other words is there a direct correlation between the two? Could one expect that a scope that people reported that ranged very well - the Falcon 503? for example - would have a...

    HW/Weihrauch Stainless HW guys

I have a HW50 in stainless, and an R9, and a HW97K both in standard bluing. I like both finishes, but what interests me is which of the finishes will hold up best over the long haul.

2025 Daystate BRK Experience - A Huge Success!

Unusually dry over there too. Staffordshire is having a drought. Luckily, Eccleshall - near the Daystate HQ - has plenty of pubs with warm English beer.

    MAFTA First Match ....... Thanks!

It was a great morning. Some folks have been working on the course - clearing brush etc. I feel very lucky to have this facility within 20 minutes of me. For those in MN and WI, the location (Oakdale Gun Club) is an easy access off I94 East of Saint Paul, MN. Matches continue until October.

    Light direction and ranging accuracy

My Bisley arrived yesterday, and there’s always learnings with new stuff. One thing that surprised and pleased me about it was its benefit in standing and kneeling shots. I hadn’t realized how much time I was wasting holding the gun out while finding eye relief. The eyecup must have easily...

    Home made vulcan 3 stock

Very cool. You have a good eye for balance and form. I didn't know that they sold laminate planks. Where did you find the plank?
