Newbie question coming. What advantage is this arrangement expected to deliver?

By coincidence I was just watching a “how to” video and the guy was shooting a UK spec TX200. It had some good tips in it, he liked a moderator on his for the reduced barrel flip. Fast forward to minute 9:30 to see him put 3 pellets in the same hole at 40 yards from a prone position on the ground.

Continuing on with pellet pouch variants. For a while i was really happy with a green dog treat pouch. It came with its own belt and had flat magnets which held it together. I could fit my whole hand in there and easily pull out a pellet without looking. However, it was meant for dog treats...

I think you’ve nailed it by saying that “the more you use it the less it costs or the better the payback”. That seems to be the key. If you acquire something and use it frequently, then it’s a pleasure. If you acquire something, and it just sits around, then it becomes a burden.

I wonder what the break-even point is? In other words, how many events would a person need to attend before the cost of buying and running a rig worked out to be cheaper than paying for the hotels?
