Crosman Gun of the year award

I am sorry to hear that but glad your still with us! This is a great FT platform. I have been shooting my frankingun for a few seasons. I built it from Challenger cycle test parts on a marauder tube and stock.

Crosman Gun of the year award

Rich does a great job putting those together. Glad you like the rifle. I have been shooting one similar to that for a number of seasons. I roll the pellet off my finger and into the breech with my thumb.

Is Benjamin too late to the party coming out with a .257 Bulldog?

The coyote setup was tuned in favor of power over shot count and for a heavier projectile. The woodchuck setup balanced power and shot count. We tested a few projectiles performance in ballistic blocks at 50 yards. The 65g had really good expansion and 8" of penetration. Should be more than...

Is Benjamin too late to the party coming out with a .257 Bulldog?

I haven't gotten to play with the 257 all that much. It was tested with 6x, 7x, 9x and 10xg slugs. All with good results at 50 and 100 yards. Of the 5 rifles that went for testing, only 3 were returned to engineering. The boys in QA liked them so much they have "held on to them for further...

    .

You have a nice tune on that Prod! Glad you like the new pellets. We worked hard to get the weights and head size consistent. I have never seen a pellet deformed like that. I will ask the pellet guys how that happened.

Benjamin What would you do, why?

I have put a few rounds through the M357. You can tune it down a little and shoot 81g JSBs or FX hybrid slugs at 1000fps. I have one tuned to shoot Hybrid Slugs to hunt woodchucks. Or shoot slugs at nearly 300fpe for larger game and hit targets out to 400 yards. We shot the M357 at the EBR Big...

Buying a Benjamin Marauder in 2022?

I am sorry to hear that your Mrod is not shooting well. I have a few suggestions for you. 1. Double check the scope. Make sure everything is snugged correctly. 2. Is the barrel band touching the barrel shroud? If it is adjust the barrel band so that it is not hitting the shroud at all. 3...

Is Benjamin too late to the party coming out with a .257 Bulldog?

Greg - We are not going to offer caliber swaps for the current Bulldog. Trigger pack pins need to be pressed out of the receiver to swap the bolt. This is not something we recommend doing.

Is Benjamin too late to the party coming out with a .257 Bulldog?

The .257 Bulldog is still coming. We are waiting on barrels. We hope to have them in the next month or so. Then all the velocity and accuracy testing can take place.

    35 or 45?

I spoke with a guy at a shooting event about air gun hunting. He made the suggestion to buy a block of ballistic gel and shoot it with your slug of choice at the maximum distance you think you would hunt at. Check the block for damage, depth of penetration and any expansion of the projectile...
