If you have a grinder you could take the next size larger allen wrench and grind the end down to a good fit before trying again. I have also gound a drill bit backwards and ran the drill in reverse to remove screws. That's about all i got. Good luck, when you get it out let us know how you...

MG, I'm of the opinion that the tray or the mags should not fall out. You are on the right track calling them. Keep us posted on progress. Craig

MG, Mine is a .22 cal. that said my .25 cal and .30 cal are all the same HM1000X model. Snug front to back with no gap like your gun has. I really feel that your tray is too short in length to properly fill the gap. Craig

Note the very bottom of the tray, Mine has no gap like your has. Mine fits snug. the gap at the bottom of yours may be the cause of your problems.

There is a section of the barrel that protrudes from the block on all of mine about 1/16" to 3/32". My single shot tray fits snug on all as well. Photo's may help if you can. Craig
