    First compressor purchase

I have looked at Airgun Revisions and my plan is likely to go with a Stoeger Bullshark for my first PCP.

I haven't made a purchase yet. Won't be doing any shooting until the weather warms up a little so I'm still doing as much reading as I can before pulling the trigger.

Umarex .25 Umarex Zelos 100 shots per fill?

Looks like that valve adapter is working out pretty well for you.

Yes, I have seen that one. Currently out of stock and looks like he is having a hard time keeping it in stock, but certainly another option.

Are you guys running an additional inline filter on these smaller compressors when only filling smaller volume tubes and bottles?

    First compressor purchase

I'm about to take the plunge into the world of PCPs and looking into my first compressor purchase. This unit would primarily just be used for directly filling rifles. I think I have settled on the XMI Bullshark, but would like this compressor to be able to handle filling bottled rifles and...

Thanks again. I saw that both of those are currently out of stock and it looks like keeping them in stock is a bit of an issue. I guess we will have to see what is available when I'm ready to make the purchase. So much to think about with this being my first PCP purchase...

Thanks for the pics. The Tanto is another option that I was looking at and seems like it would be a perfect match. Would also save me a little over an inch in total length over the Buckrail.

That walnut stock is looking great. I will certainly look into a few of those mags, I have been reading some good things.

Looks like the tapered Buckrail moderator should be a perfect fit according to the numbers listed on his site. It's 1.2" in diameter and the tapered aspect itself might allow for enough clearance to seat the fill probe.

Well I really appreciate that. I wonder if the tapered Buckrail moderator would allow enough clearance. I have heard the Bullshark isn't bad in stock form, but I imagine I will want to quiet it down as much as possible.

Thanks for the pics. Easy enough to just unscrew the mod while filling I suppose. What mod are you running there and how does it sound?

Anyone running a moderator on one of these and having any clearance issues when filling while the moderator is installed?

Excellent. Thank you. It's possible that I could have misread the post or just got it confused with a different model.
