    Pellet gauge

Second this! I think I’ve seen benefits from sizing slugs. Sorting pellets feels like it would maybe have less impact than sizing slugs but I don’t have a good intuitive feel for that. Be very interested in what you find.

    Moderator with built in Chrono

Slight redesign on the SilentChrony. I didn't like the idea of either having buy a chronograph for each gun or having to deal with removing the moderator to put it on a different gun to use the chronograph. In this revision I've decoupled the chronograph from the moderator. That way I can have...

We will definitely have plenty of prototypes in a bin, lol. We have kept a box full of all our "fails" or as I like to call them "intermediate steps". The other day my son was looking through the box (actually multiple boxes at this point) and said we sure do fail a lot. haha 🤷‍♂️

FX Pocket Chronograph 3D printed mount

Yep, the print files are already in post #1 and post #6. Everyone has my full permission to print for themselves, friends, sell on eBay etc. I should caveat that this mount hasn’t been thoroughly tested though. So if someone plans on making them to sell they need to do some more testing.

FX Pocket Chronograph 3D printed mount

haha, very tempting! I don't have a v2 unfortunately so I wouldn't be able to model anything. Sorry guys! Maybe a bottle clamp with picatinny would work? I think i've seen a bunch of people selling stuff like that on ebay. Don't know if that would move the chrono too far out of line with the...

Interesting, I'll have to look at the NRF52. Do you know what its analog read speeds are? I had to add some circuity and amp to my photodiodes so they output digital because the analog read on the esp32 is so slow. I'm getting digital reads on the order of 1 microsecond with the esp32. I've...

In regards to bluetooth/phone connectivity. The micro controller I'm using, esp32-s2, doesn't have any real Bluetooth capabilities. That said the esp32-s3 I think has full Bluetooth capabilities and could potentially be substituted. I'd need to look into that a bit more. The only real cost would...

Ya that was my thinking too. I'm tentatively thinking of something like this.

    Moderator with built in Chrono

What started out as curiosity about the feasibility of adding a chronograph to a moderator has turned into a bit of a passion project for me. The concept is pretty straightforward: make an airgun moderator that has a chronograph and display built in. As it turns out, the implementation is harder...

3D printed Monopod for FX Impact M3

Yep I’m sure there are many great designs out there. This is just one of many. Not my intention to detract from anyone. Just thought I’d throw out my stl files in case they are useful to anyone else.

3D printed Monopod for FX Impact M3

Bunch of different monopod designs out there. This is just my take on it. It uses this lead screw and nut from amazon ($14ish) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085DYVC9L?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 You'll have to cut the screw down a bit. I'll attach the stl files in case anyone whats to...

FX Pocket Chronograph 3D printed mount

While this mount works great for an Impact m3 with the 600mm barrel it struggles with guns where the CF bottle sits further back from the end of the barrel like on the fx crown. It causes the chono to misses some of the shots. Thanks to some testing from SilentSquirrel we found that just moving...

DAYSTATE INTRODUCES ALPHA WOLF BLUE SPECIAL EDITION

I kinda think the standard red stock looks the best. That red laminate is just beautiful. It’s the only one I’ve seen in person though so maybe that’s biasing me.

    Target camera

Not the exact setup the OP was looking for but this might serve as a data point. This first video was shot on a 300mm lens on a mft camera so the equivalent of a 600mm full frame lens. This is at a distance of 35 yards. There isn’t a clean conversion from 600mm focal length to x times...
