If that worried about corrosion just use a clear report cover and make a tube to slide in..

To use the west hunter you have to file the serrations off to tilt the scope without damage..

I just take a slug and squeeze it in a vice to bigger than the bore.. The tap it into the bore with a rod... Run it in the 250z case, all the way thru the barrel and measure..

Set the pin probe so it seats a majority of your test slugs seat just in front of the transfer port.. I agree with Scotty breach o ring..
