Thanks for the excellent rundown on the Evanix, it doesn't sound as elegant as I was hoping for. I was thinking about a tank mounted regulator though, but I am a little concerned about yours needing a rebuild. Do you think it failed prematurely or was it just time for some attention?

Do any of the semi automatic precharged air rifles have adjustable output power? Or is the mechanism tied to the power setting so you really don't ever want to change it? It seems to me that the battery operated Evanix would be the way to go here, but they are expensive if you can even find...
