Is the Maxima motorcycle chain wax petroleum or synthetic based? Being a "wax", I would assume it is rather thick - kind of like grease. I understand that petroleum based lubes will damage O-rings and seals. For some reason, the manual on the Buccaneer says NOT to use silicone lubricants...

Thought those filters were mainly for dust and dirt. I had thought about taking that out and putting a small desiccant pack in there instead (like the ones in supplement bottles), but I don't know how that would affect the pumping pressure.

According to various PCP supply sources, that add-on is only for other models of the Air Venturi - not the G9.

Regarding 10-shot rotary style magazines for PCP's, is it best NOT to have any rounds in them for a certain amount of time so that the internal spring does not weaken? I have a Gamo-type that is used for the .22 BSA Buccaneer and am wondering if I should leave the magazine without any rounds...

Sorry to seem ignorant, but what is "inletting"? Is that the inside where the metal parts rest? I did the water drop test on the outside and it did NOT soak in. Thanks

No alteration intended other than just something that may add more protection against wear and tear in the field. Otherwise, I could just keep the rubberized stock that this one was replacing for the dirty work...
