WTS: Wildcat MK3 BT Compact .30 / DonnyFL Ronin / FX Hand Pump -- Full Kit

Tried out airguns; not for me. Selling everything. All purchased in last two months. All mint/as new, only ever indoors, etc. All manuals, boxes, parts, etc, minus the tube box for the FX Moderator (didn’t come with one as it was bundled w/ the rifle). Wildcat MK3 BT Compact .30 (18 rounds...

    Donny fl vs FX

YMMV = Your Mileage May Vary. The barrel length is a good call-out. I can definitely see that affecting sound and isn't something I'd really considered. Thanks.

    Donny fl vs FX

So YMMV, etc, but: I have a Wildcat MK3 BT Compact in .30, DonnyFL Ronin and a DonnyFL FX 'moderator upgrade.' The former is about 2x the size of the latter. When shooting indoors (which is all I've done -- concrete garage, so probably much louder than outdoors or even indoors with less...

What is your most silent 22 and 25...

It came with the 'moderator upgrade' DonnyFL FX. I'll open it up and see if it's empty -- that'd surprise me. I have that and a Ronin but haven't opened either to see what's actually inside.

    My EBay 12"x12" Bullet Trap

Cardboard's nice up front, as someone else recommended, but horse stall mats (3/4" thick rubber, but still cutable with a box cutter) make a very nice 'final layer' before steel, cutting both sound and spall/pellet splash.

    Utah Airguns A+++

+1 for Justin. Also, their rush handling is actually rush, which is very nice. Great company.

Hairline Crack in Block on Wildcat MkIII. Anyone else have this issue?

And a three year warranty on all airguns. 👍🏼

    DonnyFL RONIN moderator issue

FWIW, Wildcat MK3 BT Compact .30 -- DonnyFL Ronin vs DonnyFL FX moderator upgrade -- can't tell the difference. I too was in the 'don't care about size/looks, just want sound down' camp. YMMV. Things on the internet said 'larger the moderator, the quieter it'll be' as a rule, but that's not my...

Where can I buy Donny FL Moderator Sleeves?

+1 to shrink tubing, assuming you have a heat gun/hair dryer. And it costs a hell of a lot less than $25 per too!

DonnyFL Ronin vs 0db 160S in high flow applications?

That's interesting that the DonnyFL FX was smaller/lighter -- and quieter! I had an FX, upgraded to a Ronin to cut more sound, but can't really tell the difference.

    Donny Shogun vs Ronin

The 'overhanging roof' clarification is a good one. I have DonnyFL Ronin and an DonnyFL FX 'moderator upgrade' and despite the former having -- visually -- maybe 2x the volume of the latter, I almost can't hear a difference... when inside a concrete garage. Curious if there's be a more marked...

Pellets hitting baffles in DonnyFL Ronin

I have two DonnyFL moderators, including a Ronin. It is a beautifully machined piece of kit. Lock-up/mount on an FX barrel was extremely tight. I only have a few rounds through it, but no signs of clipping whatsoever. My two cents.

What is your most silent 22 and 25...

Can you say more about this? I have an FX Wildcat MK3 BT Compact (a well-known brand and model, I think), tuned by a well-known retailer, with a big-name moderator on it, and it's still Very Loud, IMO. Not earpro loud, but these 'just hear the tink' -- I'm nowhere near that. Sounds closer to a...

    Donny fl vs FX

A little late to this thread, but I'd strongly advise you try and find someone with the moderators you're interested that you can see/hear in person. Maybe even on the same rifle/caliber too. I watched reviews of PCP airguns that seemed near-silent, bought one plus some fancy moderators, and am...
