Thanks for the info. I sent my 480 to the factory and ultimately had to buy a new tank because they claimed my tank was “rusted” & unable to open. The tank was carbon fiber over aluminum but the valve is steel and that supposedly caused the rust. Never did get it returned to me! A $300...

My FX Royale 400 is nearing 5 years old and interested if other users hydro their bottles every 5 years. Inspection is required every 5 years but FX tells me hydro testing is NOT REQUIRED, only highly recommended by them to ensure the integrity of the bottle.
