How old is the gun? Possible that’s a warranty issue.

Every once in awhile you stumble on something that just suits you. That’s where I am with my HW35E. Purchased from a member here couple years back and so glad I did. Glad you’re enjoying yours. And @Wadcutter that vintage one is gorgeous.

Finally stopped raining long enough for Kimmie Two Guns and I to shoot a little. Her HW50S .22, my long barrel 97K .177 and Diana 56TH .177 . Metal targets and chalk targets at 20 and 25 yd. Love the chalk, the targets just get smaller and smaller. I actually shoot a hair better with the 97 than...

Had enough daylight to grab my 35E .177 and go shoot some pellets offhand. Have I mentioned how much I love this gun? Came back in and told Kim I need smaller targets for this gun. Won’t hear that from me very often ha ha ha. Finished off with a SSP that’s as accurate as anything I’ve ever shot...

Nice. Remember Blazing Saddles? “Someone’s going to have to go back and get a —-load of dimes”! If we get a dry weekend I’m going to have to try this with my 35E. This would make a fun shooting contest.

It doesn’t back off. Barrel is knurled beneath where the sight assembly sits and there’s also a little dovetail. I can move it more than 1/8” but you still can’t see any of that. Have to heat it and knock off with block of wood or use a puller on it. Don’t see either of those doing the bluing...

@Mycapt65 should that Loctite you showed wick in without having to remove front sight? Bluing on this gun is so good. Add to that the soft metal I’d have to bang on and I’m really hoping to avoid removing the sight. Thanks.
