It's a first gen impact and .30 cal. It definitely needs more hammer to go above what he's already getting.

Most likely need a heavier hammer and spring! Not enough to open the valve at higher pressure's.

My brother shot my mod. 72 .20 cal a few years back and it still resides in his gun cabinet! Lol. Closely resembles a Beeman R10 except for the stock and a factory steel muzzle break. Great shooting rifle!

Hmm! Could be a cocking shoe issue. Not locking up compression tube all the way forward. I bought some tuff core seals from ARH that are green and last a lot longer than the factory style.

Sounds to me you got a bum barrel liner! I would contact the vendor you got it from and figure out a solution. Not unheard of to get a bad liner! Mass production throws bad parts occasionally. Or could be clipping your moderator. Just a thought.

Haven't had it out in a while so I took a few shots to check zero and still spot on. Then ran 10 across the chrony! High of 754 and a low of 746. Still really consistent for a 2005 springer. 👍

That's interesting because I did find that it likes thumb up and very light grip! Might have to make a trip to the hardware store for some buttons.
