    Air Venturi Avenger Barrel Alignment

It's been a couple of weeks, but I got the gun back after they replaced the barrel and shroud. After recentering my scopes, I put one of them on the gun and dialed it in. The groups aren't as tight as they were with the old barrel, but that is something for me to work on. I'm very happy with my...

    Air Venturi Avenger Barrel Alignment

I got one and installed it, gun still shot low and to the right. I leveled the gun in a vise and put a digital angle gauge on the shroud and found it was sloping downward. Looking at the gun from the side, you can see how the gap between the shroud and air reservoir gets smaller as you get...

    Air Venturi Avenger Barrel Alignment

First, I’m new to PCP rifles, I just got a refurbished Air Venturi Avenger from Pyramyd Air, with the wood stock. Just some background, I’m 80 and have been shooting guns for over 70 years. I put an Athlon Argos HMR 4-20x50 scope on it and shooting in my basement at 20 yards put 5 shots in a...

I just recently got into PCP guns and found this forum, so far this place has cost me a second gun, a compressor, and now I've found this thread, is there no end?

    GX-C3I water oil separator

Thanks for the suggestion and the link, F6Hawk. I ordered the separator you linked along with a 36" extension whip I found on Amazon. That should let me keep the compressor and separator on the floor while filling my rifles.

    GX-C3I water oil separator

I am new to the PCP world and have just received the GX-C3I compressor I ordered before my rifle got here. Everything I've read about it says it has a built-in water/oil separator, but I'm wondering if it would be wise to install another external unit. I will be filling 2 rifles, the Air Venturi...

    New Old Guy Here

Patrick1, you are the man. I took your advice and checked out the video's at Target Forge on YouTube. I liked what I saw and ordered a GX CS3-I from Amazon. I won't get it until Sunday, but I'm already looking at getting an additional separator for it.

    New Old Guy Here

Hey bchannell, I live in the country in Southern Michigan and not liking the idea of having to travel for air, so a compressor is a must-have. I have to admit that reading and watching video's haven't help much in making a decision on a compressor. For every yeah I read on any compressor, there...

    New Old Guy Here

A big thank-you to everyone for the warm greeting. As "Susan Candela" posted earlier, "It can definitely get expensive but, you can't take it with you." I started shooting powder guns in 1950 at age 7, taught and encouraged by my dad and grandfather. I am a member of the NRA, GOA and SAF. I've...

    New Old Guy Here

Just wanted to introduce myself, I'm an 80 yo new guy to air guns. My son gave me a Diana .22 350 mag for my birthday last year and while it's been fun I'm getting the itch to upgrade to a PCP. I have a lot of reading and learning to do and it looks like this is just the place to do it.
