The Poultry Snatcher got a Zeus .72 :-)

We stop selling AEA in January 2022 because the QC controlled is terrible……This is AEA Chinese company so if you want to let the world know to be accurate go after AEA products not a dealer that stop selling these products . Have a bless day Zach CT out!

    Texan carbine/horrible accuracy

How could you warrant a rifle by cleaning it with a brass/bronze brush??? It has been done this way for the past 150+ years! Lawyer speek and totally BS! And if a brass projectile wont harn your bore then why should a brass brush do? Totally lavyer BS to me. You might want to look into...

    Texan carbine/horrible accuracy

The big elephant in the room: Bullet size, is your barrel clean and do you lube enough??????? If not .510-511" then it's a no go! If your barrel is leaded it will scatter any bullet on earth! If you lube the big bores as you lube 22 pellets you are in a world of suprice! Lube them like for...

Shooting copper slugs from a few airguns with custom barrels

In general, start pressure from a true firearm with a monometal bullet is 3625+psi. So you should have shaven that rifling down to next of nothing, and thats what you probably did plus some HBn or the like to reduce friction even further? Good on you but hardly usefull to the avarege Joe on...

How to turn off "reaction scores"?

I detest this social construct whole hardedly! Is it possible to turn it off on this site? I have contacted moderators allready. Every chance i get i try to put people down and belittle them but my score still climbs. So i'm not the AH here you are! I dont give a tinkers cuss what you think og...

The Poultry Snatcher got a Zeus .72 :-)

So finally it is done :-) Hopefully some range time in the near future. I'm drylubing bullets as we speek, just a scope away from booming lead down the range. Should i put a limit on shooting? Just 2 pounds at every sitting, or just have at it. Think i will go with the external regulator i...

    BleuAir kickstarter compressor

Well it's a two cylinder/piston design so it's gonna fail! I will wager that noone gets 50 hours of work before it destrys itself! You can repack a 2 cylinder design umpteen times in different forms, but it will fail given (short) time. We have seen way to many 2 piston designs fail over the...

Tried some .452's in my .457 Texan.....worked great

The Texans slug .457" so there vill be blow by and sometimes erratic grouping as the undersize slugs might engrave rifling a little askew. Lots of cast .457" bullets to be had! https://www.grafs.com/retail/catalog/category/categoryId/938...

Alkin W31 - Topping off/Filling more than one tank question

That's not nice! Letting the compressor start against 4500psi will wear it out fast.

My .457 Texan Carbon Fiber Barrel Sleeve

Well that will be a project after my Zeus is in order. What is the interface between carbon and barrel? Glue or machined bushings?

    Questions about the new Texans

I have made a mutt for myself but it takes a machineshop and some decent skill. Apart from that a Maddog is the way to go for mere mortals. https://www.maddogcrs.com/ It costs, but plainly: "It works" !!!!! There's only one good (Maddog) and then theres the rest of us (non existing!)

    Questions about the new Texans

As for myself i dont shoot no way near enough, but i'm getting closer to 2MOA reliably from outing to outing. There is so much flex inherent in the Texan frame and unless you have some form of added rigidity, 2MOA is hard to get below.

    Questions about the new Texans

"ReedMosser" on here is by far the best with the .50 Texan and can hold shots smaller than 2MOA day in and day out. He has a thread on his shooting with a new stock and at 125yds into a backhoe, 1,25MOA comes to mind with a heavy Accuratemolds.com mould. He'll chime in and fill you in good ;-)

#1best Recommended Yong Heng Compressor Oil?

Does'nt matter much! I have yet to hear of a YH compressor living past 200hours run time (most often they struggle at the 50 hour mark!), before self destruct. So any "non dieseling" oil will work, (given the compressors short life span), and it will serve you "good". The compressor will fail...
