Just a little to add about the accuracy or maybe precision/repeatability that I noticed with my .22 Freedom. I had to free float the barrel to get consistent groups. I just removed the slug that fit around the barrel inside the shroud. I was nearly certain that as resivor air pressure changed...

50 yard 18.1gr JSB on high power 5 shot groups pumping between groups to stay in sweet spot of power. Can’t remember now but either forgot holdover or needed to find out how much on that low shot on right hand target.

22 yard 10 shot test groups on low power.

Also have a .22 Nova Freedom here. I too have seen the best consistency with 18.1gr JSB especially at longer distances (50 yards). But as mentioned above, the nicely priced Crosman 14.3gr hollowpoints do really well for low power 25 yard plinking.

Sent you a PM. I liked the grooved Sears barrel except it required a offset scope mount to get the scope back far enough for proper eye relief.

I installed the Rowan trigger myself in my R7. I was a little nervous as a first timer working on rekord but it went well. Much nicer for my short fingers now too.
