    You need to apply heat (first Pick) while applying heat grab the tip of the shroud with glove and rotate and pull, i think they used red locktite, once the tube comes off the base use 2.5 mm hex key to remove base, good luck.

    I've had the Coltri MAC-6 about 6 months "fills a 80 cuft in 20 mins tops them off in 6 mins" true quote. Talk to Mitch at Nuvair, good guy, you won't be sorry.

    On the Nuvair website the sale price for the gas engine model was for $2500.00, I had the website saved, but looks like they took it down, you might want to check the reviews on the $1999.00 compressor link you have, not very favorable.

    Coltri MCH-6 electric was $2900.00, I picked it up from the Nuvair warehouse, Gas option is cheaper by $400.00 last time I checked.
