    Finally cured the Bobcat

I got several 5-shot 1MOA (100m) groups today, even a 7/8" group that started with 4 shots at 0.5MOA. There is no doubt it helped MY rifle, but its still early to say it wont affect long-term mechanical stability. Dont do irreversible mods unless you dont care if it helps or not.

    Finally cured the Bobcat

My .25 Bobcat MKII has been collecting dust for about a year, I had lost interest in shooting it, It just wasnt accurate at longer ranges. Yesterday, I decided to take it apart, removing the scope rail, I noticed the barrel was under tension from the rail (1mm) The more i thought about it, the...

    Regulator pressure?

    MK2 Bobcat mystery washer

Turning the washer would make more sense, but would the regulator actually move? Would'nt the higher pressure from the air reservoir keep it in place?

    MK2 Bobcat mystery washer

Well, I put it back together without the washer, works just fine. Some adjustments were made, 34 grain pellets now fly at 850 fps :D I wonder how far i can go before it gets unstable, 900 should be ok?

Edit: The washer is there to keep the regulator from moving forward when the air reservoir is removed.

Crazy Hollow-point Expansion!! Pellet/bullet testing Bulldog .357 with pics!!

Try removing the tip on the Polymag’s, it would be interesting to see if the bullet expands like it did in my .25 (looked like a lead doughnut)

I need something "smarter" than that...

Repeatable precision in a small waterproof/resistant package that can handle a lot of recoil ,to be sellable in a wider market, still presents a lot of risk for a manufacturer. Production cost vs profit, and would it be sellable enough at that price? It’s an interesting idea, someone just has...

    JSB manufacturing tolerances

Yeah, I have a topic called: "33.95 grain? Now thats funny (the .95 grain part)" Soon after that, I just gave up on my .25 Bobcat MKII, It's just a dust collector now, should have got a .22

    Predator Polymags w/o the tips

When I tested .25 polymags without the tip on modeling clay, it expanded so much it opened up in the middle, turning it into a lead doughnut.

Sorted Some 25.4's Kings With Results

It looks like the regular kings are better than heavies then, the extreme spread i got sorting heavies was 2.4 grain.

33.95 grain? Now thats funny (the .95 grain part)

Well, after going through about a 1000 pellets, the extreme spread is 2.4 grain, the main bulk is within a grain. I normally dont weigh my pellets, but im searching for the reason why im getting so many flyers (at 75-100m) with my MKII Bobcat. Lucky me, ive bought 3500 of them. edit: Just...

    Eurasian Jay

I thought you might like to see one of the species I hunt (with my .22LR Sako Quad, hunting is for powder burners only where i live) Like magpies, they breed like crazy if enough food is available and they dominate the area, not letting any small birds near the birdfeeder, robbing nests and...
