You don’t need to spend much money on a scope to compete, a good Athlon or Hawke will work nicely…. I only have pricey Airgun stuff because I’ve been very frugal for 60 years 😉

good info... i may have to break my Marauder HFT Pistoli back out... it's got the Corocan furniture on it and i updated the scope to one of my extra S-tacs, I was thinking i only got 20 shots (regulated) before i refilled... maybe i psych myself out.

I know we use the term "military campaign". I don't think i've heard FT peeps celebrating victory "champaig-ning" "before" a match with a particular rifle platform. In context i have always heard the word in FT used to reference the gun of choice for a particular person to compete with.

I have read the word "campaigning" used in the Field Target world as it pertains to gun choice during competition. Anyone know when this word choice became a thing in field target... i like history... thus the question.

they have def. fixed the magazine issue. Skout is a GREAT company. i shot with a guy this weekend who used a .22 Skout for HFT. he did quite well.
