Somebody with a Zbroia sapsan. 25

I've got a Kozak FC. I like it a lot. Very accurate. Probably one of the best deals going right now in PCPs. The primary advantage the Sapsan has over the Kozak FC is the forward cocking. For me it didn't justify the price differential.

Anything better than the Taipan Veteran for the money?

Haven't owned a veteran. Used to have a vulcan. When I was considering what bullpup to buy most recently, the veteran was near the top of my list but I ended up settling on the Zbroia Kozak FC, because it's 300-400 bucks cheaper with a very similar feature set. I don't regret my purchase. I'm as...

    Zbroia Kozak FC- Great Deal.

Including the tune and shipping it ended up being about a grand. Significantly less than any comparable quality bullpup-- Vulcan, Taipan, Cricket, Wildcat, etc. My theory on airguns is that you want to spend enough to get to the point where you get the features you really need and, more...

    Zbroia Kozak FC- Great Deal.

Haven't had a chance to do a full shotstring yet. If I had to guess I'd say somewhere north of 60. It's got a decent sized air tube and a relatively long barrel.

    Zbroia Kozak FC- Great Deal.

Got a Kozak FC 550/290 from Georgia Airguns recently. I've previously owned a gen 1 Vulcan. Accuracy, quality and features of the Zbroia seem about on par with the vulcan, despite costing several hundred dollars less. I thought that I wouldn't like the rear cocking, but it doesn't bother me at...

    Alabama Delta Squirrel Hunt

Hey Dennis, Thanks for the response. You've got a solid rationale for your arsenal. Do you find that the Vulcan groups better than the Taipan at 75-100 yards? I'll probably end up with the Taipan Veteran .25, although I do wish that they used the CZ barrel instead of the LW one in that...

    Alabama Delta Squirrel Hunt

Hi Dennis, What advantages does your .22 veteran have over your .25 vulcan? Is it just that it's a bit quieter? Do you prefer the ergonomics? I had a gen1 .22 vulcan for a couple years that I'd use for invasive cormorant shoots organized by the local ministry of the environment. Very effective...

Vulcan 2 vs Taipan Veteran Standard

Awesome strings! I saw a video of Matt Dubber's talking about the ballistic benefits of slugs over pellets that peaked my interest. Have you ever tried slugs out of the Taipan? Congrats on a great gun!

LW Poly .22 un chocked barrel could not perform

FWIW, my RAW tm1000 had a lothar walther poly barrel in it and it was incredibly accurate from the first day and i never cleaned it.

Vulcan 2 vs Taipan Veteran Standard

Thanks for the input guys! Macros: Vis-a-vis the estimated 36 shot count for previous generations of the vulcan, I was referring to the .25 caliber version. 100 shots per fill is a ton in .22 though. I was getting around 55 with a 220 bar fill, although I seem to remember the velocity maybe...

Vulcan 2 vs Taipan Veteran Standard

Hey guys, In the market for a new bullpup after a year-long hiatus from the hobby. I owned a first gen vulcan in .22 for a couple of years and generally liked it. I didn't have any reliability issues and could achieve generally good accuracy with it. I didn't like the miniature buttplate...
