I tought mine was also stuck. It could turn just about a 3/4 of a turn, maybe a 2mm, and then it stops. So I took a piece of cloth and grabbed it strongly with both hands ( gun was in a clamp) and broke that last bit. I could feel that part was hardest. After it came loose normally.
