the maverick is simpler accurate and very tunable 30cal is the way to go

have both fx is much lighter more power and very tunable the akela sits in its case it is apples and oranges

you can install a huma hi pres first stage or just gut it

check out the trijicon mro hd with 3x magnifier great red dot and dead on out to 100 yds for day tim pesting

i use 22 for targets and 25 to hunt one shot kills and cuts wind better

for the money i found the gamo urban quiet light and accurate or the benjamin akala

for short range plinking i use a crosman pcp silhouette with a holosun he507c-gr verry accurate and fun

i vote 25 in or behind the ear barrel length really matters

the maruder pistol pcp with buttstock in 22 is light accurate and a decent pest gun

i inherited my first a diana 48/52 side lever then pcp pistols and now five fx models later im addicted
