I took a box about the size of a shoe box, filled it with duct seal bricks from Lowes/Home Depot and I put my targets over that. Works really good and pretty quiet. I've heard that rubber mulch works good too.

What scope are you using? 50 yards is no easy shot. I have about 30 yards on my range and that seems pretty far.

Most people will tell you not to hold your breath but it seems to help me stabalize. Just one of those things that you have to find what works.
