Yeah I don't think so, definitely look at the new Tapian Veteran 2 tactical..either 550mm or 700mm will throw slugs very well.

Look for any Bushnell elite 3200 or 4200 series scopes. These are the earlier ones, always see them at gunshows for a couple hundred bucks and some on ebay. They can handle springer or gasram recoil..

Both are fine guns..I would recommend the Vulcan 3. Much simpler, no tinkering...will shoot lights out right out of the box. The Vulcan will shoot pretty much anything you run thru it and it's much less money. They are robust and not much can go wrong. Ghost is newer but gaining ground ...again...

I'm not sure about the numbers you mention but I know Chuckhunter has a .30 Maverick and he likely can tell ya. I think you can achieve that FPS and decent groups should be realistic.
