Looking for the avenge x tubular synthetic or wood stock to buy, or trade for the tactical stock. Just the stock and attaching screws.

I'm asking because I put a stiffer hammer spring in my .22 avenger and it went from 40 ft lbs to 45 ft lbs with 18.13 gr pellets.

Has anyone upgraded the hammer spring to a heavier one on the .22 max if so what were the results?

I used a green 3M stripping pad and cleaned off the excess stain and refinished with Tru-Oil.

I had a challenger standard .22 and sold it for that same reason. I suppose in hindsight I should should have kept it and hoped some one would make mags for it.

Thanks Gerry52 that's nice to know. I was wondering how hard it was to cock. My current has the side lever and its really easy to cock. silvershooter589 I looked the barra up and watched a review and its pretty cool.

I was also looking at the gamo swarm magnum gen 3. I also like the seneca eagle claw. I had a aea challenger sl, the gun I liked but the magazines were terrible in my opinion. I had a benjamin trail np xl too.

I mainly hunt small to medium game.

I've had break barrels before then went to pcp. I still have a couple of pcp guns (avengers .22) but sold the break barrels. Thinking of possibily going back to the break barrels for the simplicity.

I'm looking to get either the Hatsan BT65SB .22 PCP, Hatsan sniper 125 or the hatsan 135 all in .22. I'm wondering if anyone's using these guns and how the performance and reliability is? Are they difficult to work on if needed and parts availability.
