I have tried them at 100 meters before with only a rough tune but as always I get these random fliers and questionable stability from the commercially available MRDs.... So far I never really liked them. I had a lot more pictures of groups like this but no need to post them since they all look...
@csdilligaf my regulator took a bit of time to settle since it didn't fully seal the regulator so when it was in my vault for a day the pressure increased. Nowadays it stays put where I left it so that is gone and can't really say that I have issues with the first shots being slow now. I've...
I think it's the combination of social media (instagram) and helping to get information out and do deep dives in the design, not just sending free gifts to everyone who owns one :)
That says nothing with just 1 group in an image :) Since I was looking for the right ammo and only did rough tunes I shot very little groups with each slug to get the hotspots and where to look for. Last time I was a bit more into deep diving into two slugs but then I was doing pressure vs...
I have no idea what that french guy was doing but it's not hard to get within 5 cm at 100 meter with the CZ .22 barrel  Even smaller is not hard when using .218 at about 290 m/s: Did very well with Javelin 30 grain slugs as well: This was done with the CZ barrel. I'm now moving to the...
The barrels are tightened with 20Nm from the factory but they don't apply any grease on the threads so I guess the contact surface eats into each other and locks up pretty solidly. One thing that helps to get the pressure of that barrel nut that threads into the receiver is to loosen the end cap...
They have a bit of a mediocre description of triggers in my opinion. My idea of a match grade two stage trigger is having a sear that does not move by the first stage and is only released when the first stage transitions to the second stage. The current FX trigger design the sear always moves...
Making it hard to adjust has to do with the changes you made to the design as far as I can see on video. You've changed the green part in this design and that is the part that should not have been changed in it's function since that is the part that is going to make this an improved trigger...
with a solid barrel just tighten until the bolt snaps, then back it out 1/8 turn so you could have prevented that ;) What do you want to achieve with tightening it further? As soon as the clamp properly engages it doesn't add any extra support anymore to tighten it further unless you start...
I have placed a DIY depinger, sent the idea to Epic and they are looking into coming with a final product for it. If you make a depinger think about that you put it on the regulator side of the plenum, otherwise you'll loose a lot of power.
could be me but why give the golden Epoch to someone who already owns one? Why not make it available for one of the top three finishers or something similar like a small lottery for top 3, top 5 or top 10 or whatever. Then you push it into the hands of top finishers and make the user base...
I know some of them for pro class: - number 1 and 2, Thayne and Val, were using the Karma Red Panda, both in .30 I believe. - Nikolai (3rd place) was using an FX Crown with the .22 JSB monster redesigned - me (4th place), I was using a borrowed pretty much stock FX Impact in .30 cal, only had a...
Took my Epic Two to the range last wednesday and continued testing slugs. Previously I found that I needed .218 sizing in the CZ barrel but this time I started testing which weight range will work in this barrel. I went from 25 grain to 34 grain and here are the results: The range...
