The tuned .22 gets about 16 foot pounds with heavypellets. It likes Beeman Kodiaks, while no longer made, I still have a couple sleeves. Have been told they are just re'branded H&N Barracuda Match. While not a match for a PCP, it's no slouch on small game ou to about 45 yards.

This is my 20+ year old Russ Best tuned HW-85 in .22cal, absolutely love it, feed it H&N Field Target Specials and Barracudas.

First 10 shot groups sighting in my new Avenge-X @ 50yds, 62'F, gusting 6-12mph wind from 2 O'clock, using 21.2gr. Beeman Kodiak pellets @ 830-834 fps. According to my Lab Radar. No wind flags or sorting. The larger holes bottom right are from my .50 cal T/C Hawken muzzle loader.
