He shows some expansion on gel & it looks pretty good. One of the videos he explains why he went to pure lead for expansion. I may have to get some to try out. He gets some pretty good accuracy from his rifles, but I haven’t seen any of his rifles that has a CZ barrel like my Caiman X.

Tore my .22 cal Caiman X down for a good cleaning & checking things over. I found that the transfer port (in the receiver) is threaded. I assume for a restrictor. Question is can the threads in the transfer port cause turbulence that could affect the performance of the gun? Right now it’s tuned...

I second the Caiman or the Caiman X, mainly the X, since that’s the one I have. I have freind that had the Ataman but after he shot my X he sold it. His Ataman was fairly loud, by the time he got it as quite as my X it was the same length. I have my X shooting 46fpe now & it’s louder now but...

Another great shot there!! Those .17’s are pretty amazing once you get them dialed in. That’s another caliber on my slug gun list. 

I think weight is weight. BullPup will balance better but when your carrying a rifle all day 6lbs is still 6lbs. The issue I ran into was shot count, my PRod would only get about 3 mags(if I remember correctly), I had the PRod converted to .25 cal carbine. It’s an awesome gun in .25. But my...

Congrats on the new rifle!! I’ve been eyeing the Compact. I’d love to have one tuned to 20fpe. I’ve got a Caiman X & it’s a shooter for sure. I turned the regulator up just a tad & it’s pushing Jsb Knock Outs @910fps. Took a squirrel just the other day at 108.4yrds. 

Man that’s was a massacre!!! Awesome shooting. 

 

Thanks. The shot was off a little bit. I was trying for base of the skull shot, but my vans window seal wasn’t the steadiest rest. 🤣🤣

#1. Got the vermin that was getting into my feed shed. #2. Made personal best long range shot. 108.4yrds the JSB Knock Out did it’s job. Hit a little left but he crumbled. Caiman X .22 pushing the Knock Out @910fps. 

Got this thing fixed finally. Turned out I had install the the 2nd stage reed valve wrong. Finally found a video of a guy putting the 2md stage head together for reference. Got it together & turned it on, at 4k psi I turned it off.
